HOW TO GET AROUND GALWAY CITY
You’ll be glad to hear that getting around Galway City is not that difficult. As the city is relatively small in size, and with much of the attractions close to the city centre, it makes getting around on foot the most common and preferred way to discover the city. However, if you’re looking to see as much as you can and you want to explore the outer areas of the city then be sure to hire a bike for the day! On those rainy days (which there can be many) or for people with reduced mobility, you’ll be glad to hear that there are numerous city bus routes and taxi services to choose from to help you get around.
BY TAXI
With a friendly and courteous service, taxis are a great way to get about the city. It’s a quick and direct way to get to where you want to be. There are many taxi ranks positioned throughout the city where you can hop in and go or alternatively you can pre-book your taxi to collect.
