THE CLADDAGH VIEWPOINT

The Claddagh viewpoint is perhaps the most iconic view in Galway and one which can’t be missed. This incredible view across the River Corrib and Galway Bay looking towards the colourful houses of the Long Walk is known throughout the world, thanks in part the Galway Girl songs by numerous artists such as Steve Earl, Mundy and Ed Sheeran. You simply can’t visit Galway without getting a photo of yourself down at the Claddagh, with the Long Walk behind!
