Although these are designated areas of conservation and important habitats for flora and fauna, they are open to the public for educational, cultural, and controlled recreational use.
Within the Connemara National Park and several Nature Reserves you can find a number of fantastic walking trails to explore these designated areas. As they are designed to protect acres and acres of outstanding beauty consisting of unique flora and fauna, it is a truly wonderful experience to explore them by foot, and simply a must visit if you’re a lover of the outdoors!
