Connemara International Marathon 2023
The 20th Connemarathon takes place on Sunday 23rd April 2023 in the beautiful Connemara region of Galway in the West of Ireland. The event is one of the most scenic running events in the world, comprising of half, full & ultra marathons.
The half marathon starts in the village of Leenane and finishes 13.1 miles away in Maam Cross. You can expect some great scenery, two tough hills and a great atmosphere at the start and end areas!
The full marathon starts at the picturesque Lough Inagh Valley and takes in the half marathon course to finish in Maam Cross. You can expect a stunning start by the lake and a tough second half to your race.
Lastly, the ultra marathon takes in the full and half marathon courses and starts and finishes at Maam Cross. You can Expect 39.3 miles of everything Connemara has to offer!
